Practices
From now to the week of our first game, we will have an irregular practice schedule. I am shooting to get at least 10 practices in before our first game, which I expect will be Dec. 9th (we requested a first week bye on Dec. 2nd because the coaches have a conflict). Once games start, it looks like our regular practices will be on Mondays and Thursdays.
This is our practice plan the next week and a half. We will be focusing on conditioning and fundamentals in these early sessions.

11/9 - Thursday - Practice 6:30-8:00 PM @ St. Peter's Gym
11/11 - Saturday - Practice 9:30-11:00 AM @ St. Peter's Gym
11/13 - Monday - Practice 6:30-8:00 PM @ St. Richard's Gym
11/11 - Saturday - Practice 9:30-11:00 AM @ St. Peter's Gym
11/13 - Monday - Practice 6:30-8:00 PM @ St. Richard's Gym
11/16 - Thursday - Practice 6:30-8:00 PM @ St. Richard's Gym, or St. Peter's Gym

A few items/reminders regarding practice, please:
- come ready to take the floor when our practice time begins (tie your laces, visit the restroom, stretch, etc. all before practice)
- don't wear your basketball shoes on the street; change them at the gym
- be ready to learn
- bring a water bottle
Everyone is new to the systems we will play this season, and we don't have a lot of roster depth, so it's important for everyone to be there for practices. Attendance is expected at all practices, with a few exceptions. As has been my practice, I will be handing out player contracts again this year that will spell out team expectations and require commitments from players and parents (a link is on the Documents tab). We will review this at a team meeting that will be scheduled in the next couple weeks. Being part of a basketball team requires a pretty big commitment. It can also come with great rewards. I'm really looking forward to this season.
